About ExitHunt.app
ExitHunt.app is not a simple listings site. It holds two deliberately separate but linked experiences in one product: product discovery and launch, where makers introduce their work and the community responds with real votes and comments; and a valuation and M&A marketplace, where an owner registers real documentation and a qualified buyer moves through progressive access, negotiation, a formal offer, and escrow.
The two are never conflated. Where we take cues from Product Hunt and Acquire.com, it's the quality of the experience and its controls — never their name, look, or legal text.
What doesn't change
A person participates, not a brand
Votes, comments, and launches come only from a verified personal account; a faceless logo cannot vote or comment.
Community votes never set price
Discovery and launch are a signal of interest and social credibility. A business's price comes only from financial data, risk, and comparable deals — never from a vote count.
Confidential by default
Public, restricted, confidential, and internal-only data are labeled separately; confidential data never reaches an unauthorized browser.
A valuation is a range, not a promise
Every valuation output is an 'estimate' with a method, source, date, and limitations — never investment advice or a sale guarantee.
Every sensitive decision is auditable
Listing status changes, access grants, offer acceptance, and fund releases all carry an owner, a timestamp, a reason, and a before/after record.
